The second season of Burn Notice originally aired from July 10, 2008 – March 5, 2009 consisting of 16 episodes. The season was split into two sections. Episodes 1 - 9 aired in the summer of 2008 and episodes 10 - 16 aired in early 2009.
Season Summary[]
The second season of Burn Notice continues the plot line of the first season. Michael Westen struggles to find out the reason why he had been burned and by whom. Michael continues his work as a freelance spy and private investigator for anyone in Miami.
Season Two introduces a mysterious woman named "Carla" who turns out to be an agent within The Organization behind Michael's burn notice (document). Michael resists working with her, however, she assigns him with several tasks whilst he also secretly attempts to find out who she really is.
